Crew XIV Presents:
In the film “27 Dresses” (2008), Katherine Heigl’s character is always a bridesmaid, never a bride, with a closet stuffed full of bridesmaid’s dresses ranging from chic to Little Bo Peep.
Most of us don’t have a closet full of leftover bridesmaid’s dresses, but we probably have one or two! This is your opportunity to get your money’s worth out of that dress your friend swore you’d wear again. At 127 Dresses, we plan to celebrate ZLAC’s 127th anniversary in style: we want you to wear a bridesmaid’s dress, a wedding dress, or any dress that you don’t get the chance to wear very often!
We’ll be putting the clothes to good use: a photographer will be capturing all of us with the new Garden surroundings so that the photos can be used on the website to show off our venue for inquiring brides!
Later, we’ll have dinner and dancing! There will be a prize for best and worst dress, and in addition we’ll be collecting dresses to donate to a local charity.
Donations are highly encouraged, though admission is free. We still need you to RSVP.
(PS “127 Hours” is the one where he cuts his arm off. Please do not do that at our party.)
