How does one turn their true passion into something that's profitable? Come enjoy a dinner at ZLAC Rowing Club, overlooking beautiful Mission Bay. At 6:30, we will hear from four female entrepreneurs about their businesses, the challenges they faced, and the success they've achieved thus far.

Dinner will be served and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Please feel free to bring your own wine or beer (no hard alcohol). Sponsors will be recognized before the panel begins.

This three-time Olympic medalist brings her insight and passion to us about what it's like to be the smallest person in the boat, but quite frankly, the most important presence. Not only does she travel the nation supporting young coxswains with her technical expertise, she also teaches leadership skills that athletes and professional business execs can apply to their every day life.

After leaving a successful business in software marketing, Morgan founded The Crafter's Box using the same successful knowledge she previously and successfully practiced in business plans, education, strategy and promotion. The Crafter's Box sources quality products and video instruction for creatives all over the world who enjoy nurturing their creative spirit.

April Heinze
Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Community Services Group, County of San Diego, (Ret'd) United States Navy Captain
Overseeing and managing five large departments for San Diego County while maintaining a nearly $330 million operating budget and employing over 900 staff members keeps April's pace fast and furious. She is a recognized leader for innovative and cost effective programs. Prior to this, April served the United States Navy, Civil Engineer Corps acquiring extensive experience in building and infrastructure around the globe.

Mary founded PURE Cupcakes serendipitously when the geonome startup company she had been with for years and risen to top management at decided to move operations to the east coast. Having always been a baker in her free time, Mary's uptick in requested baked items went from merebirthday parties to 1,000 count cupcake orders for Qualcomm. Since then, this Cupcake Wars 2013 Winner has raised the baking bar with high level executive service and creative ideas to tempt any tastebud.
